Pines and water by the Kyiv Sea

Lebedivka

Lebedivka is a village in Vyshhorod district near the Kyiv Reservoir, and a house in Lebedivka means pine forest and water close by. In the early 1960s families from villages flooded by the new reservoir were resettled here; today Lebedivka is also known for the Good Life Park community.

Character and history

Families came to Lebedivka from Svaromia, Starosillia, Tarasovychi and Oshytky — villages that disappeared beneath the Kyiv Sea. Until 1973 it belonged to Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi district; today it is part of Pirnove rural hromada in Vyshhorod district.

Homes and everyday life

Next to the village is the Good Life Park community on the Kyiv Sea shore, among pines and birches, where houses are let for year-round country living. Lebedivka itself has a gymnasium school, while larger shops, lyceums and healthcare are outside the village.

Who it suits

Those who want to try life by the water and pines before buying a country house — renting in a gated community makes that possible. And those for whom quiet matters more than a quick drive into town. To be honest: this is not a suburb on Kyiv's edge, so allow time for the journey.
